Disadvantages of Google Adsense
- One sided reporting Adsense is very simple and easy to understand, even by a novice like me though. But on the other hand, reporting Adsense is not quite complete. I really hope the next Adsense provides a detailed report about which ads are clicked, and from what keyword the click originated. If so, perfect already.
- Can not figure out which ads are most undervalued. If I knew, I would just block the ad.
- The minimum payment $100. A considerable value, especially for beginners. For those who have experienced a long run Adsense and indeed it is not a major obstacle.
- Should not be spread personal information. In the Standard Terms and Conditions page Adsense, points 7 states: "Secrecy. You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google's prior written consent. "Google Confidential Information" includes but is not limited to :............. (b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Property performance in the Program provided by Google to you, and...................... "And as a publisher, we of course want to share, exchange of experiences with other people.
- We never know how the real portion of our revenue.
Adsense revenue sharing only mentioned by 68% of AdSense for content and 51% for Adsense for search. We never know how much is paid by the Advertiser. The only way to know how much of our income, is to try and run it.
